Mama's Place Italian Restaurant

We went to this restaurant for the first time tonight the good was delicious and the waiter (owner) was nice and had a good a good sense of humor .We will definitely be back

Quaint, family run business. Food is ok, not outstanding.

went tonight with my wife and both had the Pablo's chicken. excellent sauce and chef pasta. tender waiter. the owner actually brought out our meal personally. kudos!

Good food good service good price...VCouple of suggestions:Calamari needs more coating if advertising crispy calamari Maybe some fresh ground pepper and parmesan cheese to top things off?Chilly flakes on the tableDrain the pasta better/longer to avoid the water mess on the plate mixing with the rest of the food.Again just suggestions....We will be back!

Best place to have lasagna

Went to Mama’s place in Essex for dinner tonight. The atmosphere was cozy with some light music playing. The waiter / cook was very friendly and knowledgeable.The food was delicious I had the the veal Amore, and will no doubt order it again. (Picture below). It came with soup or salad. I had the soup (chicken noodle) which was also very good.My girlfriend got the veal Marsala which was also very good but a bit sweet for my liking. The prices were fair and the servings were big enough to leave full but no leftovers, which is good.I would recommend it to anyone interested in some nice Italian food.

Best little restaurant ever

A fabulous dinning experience. Mama's was referred to me by friends who live in Essex. Knowing that I enjoy good food, they said this place was the best around. I had the Navy Bean soup with fresh bread & butter, the Salmon with Chef's pasta, and finished off with Mama's own Tiramisu. It was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh since Mama, Angela Leone a local Master Chef, makes everything with love from scratch. I have added Mamas Place to my list of favourites and will be back often. I take my food seriously and I am serious when I say this place is 10/10.

Amazing place, great food and service

Went a few Saturday nights ago for the first time. The dining is family oriented, cozy. The staff is nice I believe it's the family that owns. The mussles were good. The linguine with alfredo sauce was good, I had chicken in it and it tasted like it was cooked earlier and had cooled off because it wasn't as hot as the pasta. The manicotti rolls were very filling and good. Their side salad is just a basic romaine lettuce, I was expecting mixed greens for a place like this. If you're looking for something different than Spagos then this would be nice to go too. Only open until 9 which 10 would be better. Thanks for the meal.

Family ran,Italian quisine, enjoyed the atmosphere and the veal was very tasty. We met friends there and were not rushed after dinner.

Food was tasty but not as remarkable as I expected. Portion sizes were small and dining hours were inconveniently short.
